constantly creating

As I always aim to remain versatile in my visual talents, I find it important to step away from my computer and let my mind wander on paper. I can rarely be found without my sketchbook as I am constantly doodling and jotting down new ideas. Not only is it my favorite way to unwind, but I also find it improves my design skills as I discover new solutions for solving visual problems in an organic and natural way.

I love playing with new mediums and discovering exciting ways to express myself through funky colors and bright pigments. Last summer I started doing live painting gigs at concerts and venues in Austin. Painting to live music, while being surrounded by energetic crowds has greatly influenced my latest pieces. I'm happy to say I've quickly gotten myself into the live painting scene in the Baltimore area, and can continue growing as a live artist here.

While I'm always working to explore new mediums, design markers and ink pens have always been my favorite tool. The bright, bold colors and crisp, precise lines I can create with markers make them my
go-to medium.

I've had the joy of laying down many different pigments with paint brushes. Here are a few oil paintings, gouache painting, India ink painting and acrylic paintings,

Above you can scroll through some of my work created from a wide range of materials such as paper collages, gauze mask, photo weavings, twisted wire, silk screen printing and chalk pastels. I love experimenting with new materials and finding creative ways to express myself. This drive to play with new mediums has turned me into an "organized hoarder" as I'm always saving random scraps in case it could be used to make something new and beautiful.
